Client:   Sprinturf & Clayton School District

Value:   $400,000

Schedule: 8 weeks

Challenge:   Transform a 1920's era field into a modern, turf-ready site in 8 weeks.

In eight weeks Castle Contracting delivered the Clayton School District and turf installer Sprinturf an event facility fully prepared for a synthetic surface.   Castle's scope of work included all site removals, new drainage for the field and the surrounding facility, laser grading, field base, concrete for all track&field events, field lighting.

Castle's crews provided Sprinturf and Clayton School District with the unique combination of self-perform and general management capabilities.   At the same time that Castle's crews were Directional Boring for field utilities, or installing new storm sewer systems, our superintendent Duane Hidritch was coordinating key subcontractors for the laser grading, asphalt, and electrical service.

According to Mr. Paul Fedcheck, CFO of the Clayton School District, “Castle Contracting delivered the finest construction project we have seen in the last decade in our district.”
