Omaha Central Library
Omaha, NE
Omaha is investing in its community members with a new $100 million public library, establishing a modern hub of connection, growth and innovation. Throughout the construction process, the civil project team is excavating, bedding, backfilling, providing hoisting assistance, and fortifying the soils to support storm and sanitary sewer line installations. The team's scope equips the project site with the essential underground utilities and infrastructure that will support the vertical construction and future occupancy of the main building and the parking garage. Additional civil scope details include installing solid drain pipe, grease waste piping, a sand-oil interceptor and a sump pit.
The city's vision for the Omaha Central Library is to develop a cutting-edge space with equitable access and empowering resources for individual and community development.
