Throughout the construction process, the civil project team provided excavation, bedding, backfilling, hoisting assistance and soil fortification for storm and sanitary sewer line installations. The civil scope enabled essential underground utilities and infrastructure that supported the vertical construction and future occupancy of the library's main building and parking garage. Additional civil construction details include solid drainpipe, grease waste piping, sand-oil interceptor and sump pit installations.

In Spring 2026, Omaha Central Library officially opened its doors, unveiling a cutting-edge space with equitable access and empowering resources for individual and community development.
